Evergreen Indiana Is the Newest Partner to Join MassLNC

MassLNC is pleased to announce that Evergreen Indiana is the newest collaborator in the MassLNC Evergreen Development Initiative. 

Evergreen Indiana, a growing consortium of more than 100 libraries in Indiana, will join other MassLNC partners to help identify, fund, and implement new enhancements and bug fixes in Evergreen. The Indiana group is joining C/W MARS (Massachusetts), NOBLE (Massachusetts), Bibliomation (Connecticut), BC Libraries Cooperative (Canada), Georgia PINES (Georgia) and Howe Library (New Hampshire) as MassLNC partners. Massachusetts Library Group Receives Grant from EBSCO Information Services

Financial Grant will Support New Evergreen Developments

Worcester, Mass. — October 25, 2016 — The web-based, open source Integrated Library System (ILS) Evergreen will be continuing to develop software that meets the needs of libraries thanks in part to a grant from EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO). The grant to the Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative (MassLNC) is intended to finance new developments of popular catalog features for thousands of libraries using Evergreen.

MassLNC is hiring

The Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative is hiring a part-time developer to work on bug fixes and enhancements for the Evergreen Integrated Library System. The expected start date for the developer is July 1, 2015.

The position offers great work/life balance and flexibile working hours. The successful candidate will telecommute and be expected to maintain a designated work area to perform their MassLNC duties. Some travel may be required.
