Evergreen 2.5

The Evergreen developers released the beta version of 2.5 at the end of September. The beta release is when new features are cut off for a specific release and gives us a definitive idea of what features will be available. Please note that your library will not see these features until your consortium upgrades to 2.5 (or, in the case of MVLC, during your next update), and the timing of this upgrade varies by consortium. Screencasts for Using the MassLNC Development Ideas Site

Jeff Klapes, Head of Information Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield (NOBLE) and Chair of the MassLNC Development Committee, has created two great screencasts to help library staff use the MassLNC site.

The MassLNC Accounts screencast walks users through the account-creation process and demonstrates how to use MassLNC account features.

MassLNC and Bibliomation to Host 2014 International Evergreen Conference

The Evergreen International Conference Selection Committee announced yesterday that Massachusetts will be the site of the 2014 conference.

MassLNC is co-hosting this conference with Bibliomation, a consortium of public and school libraries in Connecticut. 

The International Evergreen Conference takes place annually in the spring.  A varied program is offered, attempting to cover many aspects of Evergreen and appeal to developers, system administrators, managers, consortia leaders, and front-end staff.  Read more »
