Congratulations to Evergreen Conference Scholarship Recipients

The Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative is pleased to announce that eight people will be attending the 2014 Evergreen International Conference in March due to scholarships from MassLNC and from Equinox Software, Inc.

MassLNC offered two scholarships per day for library staff from the MassLNC networks. The recipients of those scholarships are:

  • Catherine Bence, Parker Memorial Library, MVLC
  • Alla Brovina, J.V. Fletcher Library, MVLC
  • Dava Davainis, North Shore Community College, NOBLE
  • Bob Hodge, Berlin Public Library, C/W MARS
  • John Koza, North Shore Community College, NOBLE
  • Diane Wallace, Saugus Public Library, NOBLE

In addition, Equinox Software, Inc., donated two one-day scholarships to MassLNC. The recipients of those scholarships are:

  • Melissa Rickson, Hubbard Memorial Library, C/W MARS
  • Curtis Wyant, Memorial Hall Library, MVLC

MassLNC still has two scholarships available to attend the conference on Saturday, March 22. The final day of the conference, Saturday will feature a half-day of programming that will include a discussion of Evergreen's upcoming web client project and an overview of acquisitions. Anyone interested in attending on Saturday should contact Kathy Lussier directly at klussier@masslnc.org. The scholarship will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis to library staff working in one of the MassLNC networks.
