Few patrons (or staff) ever click on the Advanced Hold Options link - if the metahold options were displayed differently, perhaps on the main hold screen rather than on a separate Advanced screen, I think they would be used more.

Online payments: setting for minimum payment level

Add a library setting to be able to require a minimum payment level. (Currently, this can only be modified in the code, and only for the entire consortium.)

Survey Improvements

When setting up the survey, if a date is added incorrectly, it doesn’t give error or save. A date picker would be nice.

Survey can’t start current day or in past (but doesn’t give error) – must hit reload to refresh the page and show the ability to add a question to a newly created survey.

Offline / Standalone Client: Add ability to automate offline patron download

Add the optional ability to schedule an automated download of the offline patron list in the background while logged into the client. This would save staff from having to remember to do it manually on a regular basis.

If there is a mis-scan, add the ability to remove it without having to start over (the current "Delete Selected Transation" button does not function - it just gives an error that says "Not Yet Implemented.").

More Flexible/Customizable Format Filters

Currently in Evergreen, format filters sort alphabetically.  

Our libraries would like a way to group filters by type, perhaps with indented sub categories.  To have all the books falls together we have to name them all starting with  "Book..."  For example Book (all), Book (Braille), Book (large print), Book (regular print)..  For ebooks to fall with the books they have to be named "Book (electronic)" .  Some libraries may want to group the formats by physical items and electronic items. Pre-Cats: Add another field to store call number

The pre-cat function currently has a field for ISBN, but that's not particularly useful for PINES libraries and our staff are instructed to put the item call number (assuming it exists) into that field.

We'd like to add a Call Number input field there to store it. One problem to watch out for is that the current functionality may be storing "UNCATALOGED" in the call number field.

Patron Self-Registration: Improve pending registration findability

Currently, you have to know which location the patron selected when they filled out the patron self-registration form. If the patron chose the wrong location, there is not an easy way to find the pending application.

We would like to be able to display all pending applications for a system, or all pending applications for the consortium.

It would also be nice to be able to search for a pending application.

New Setting: Require Parent/Guardian Field

We would like to be able to require the parent/guardian field to be filled in if a new patron is a juvenile (presumably, this would have to be a setting, since not all Evergreen libraries may want this functionality).

Select multiple items from search results to place holds

Our patrons would like to be able to select multiple items from a search results page and place holds on all of them rather than having to go through several steps for each one.

(Also - place them on a list as in http://masslnc.org/node/3132, and also print the selected ones or export them as a CSV)

The library info pages (for example, https://gapines.org/eg/opac/library/ROCK) currently link to parent relationships, but not to children relationships.

When viewing a system-level page, it would be helpful to include links to each of the branches for that system.

Patrons in collections - improve display

Modify the display to make it more obvious when a patron is in collections.

We have policies related to patrons that are in collections (for instance, the patron must be referred to the library that sent them to collections to resolve their bill and clear their account) but the interface doesn't make it obvious that the patron is in collections so staff sometimes overlook the fact and don't follow the proper procedure.

Option to copy notifications to Patron Message Center

We would like an option to add copies of certain types of notifications to the Patron Message Center at the same time they are emailed out. This would partially assist with the problem of emails getting lost in spam filters, particularly for patrons who use certain email services that are notorious for not allowing our emails through (ahem, AOL).

I would like to see it as an option on the Notifications/Action Triggers screen for each type of notification.

Mark records in search results to add to a list

Our libraries would like the ability to select multiple records in search results and add them to a list.  

This development will need to determine how this would work with existing Add to List links (i.e. would there be checkboxes instead of links that users could select one or multiple records?)
