Survey for public catalog development

The MassLNC Development Committee is focusing on public catalog development for this fiscal year. We kicked off the year with a focus on the catalog discussion at the June 2015 MassLNC Conference. The public catalog working group reviewed the ideas raised during that discussion and identified those that are top priorities for improving the catalog. Read more »

Last Chance to Register for 2015 MassLNC Users Conference

The registration deadline for the 2015 MassLNC Users Conference is looming. Please submit your registration by the end of the day Thursday, May 28.

The MassLNC web site will be taken down tonight at 11 p.m. to move to a new server. We will send out an e-mail to the masslnc-libs list when it is back up again and post an update to Facebook and Twitter.

MassLNC Conference Schedule is Now Available

The schedule for the 2015 MassLNC Users Conference is now available at http://masslnc.cwmars.org/node/3129.

The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4 at the Hogan Campus Center at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. There is no charge to attend for staff who work at libraries in one of the three MassLNC networks (C/W MARS, MVLC, NOBLE). Read more »

MassLNC is hiring

The Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative is hiring a part-time developer to work on bug fixes and enhancements for the Evergreen Integrated Library System. The expected start date for the developer is July 1, 2015.

The position offers great work/life balance and flexibile working hours. The successful candidate will telecommute and be expected to maintain a designated work area to perform their MassLNC duties. Some travel may be required.
