Thank you to everyone who attended or spoke at last week's MassLNC conference at Devens Commons Center. The conference featured a lot of useful information on Evergreen and the MassLNC project.

FY17 Was a Year of Growth for MassLNC

Registration for the 2017 MassLNC Conference is Now Open

The 2017 MassLNC Users Conference is now open for registration.

The conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, November 2 at the Devens Common Center. There is no charge to attend for staff who work at libraries in one of the two MassLNC full member networks (C/W MARS and NOBLE). Read more »

MassLNC is cleaning up the ideas on the Development Ideas site to make it easier for staff to navigate the site and find ideas they want to support. We have gathered together all of the ideas that have not received any likes and posted them at http://masslnc.org/dusty_ideas. It's possible that these ideas are still important, but staff have not been able to find them because they are too difficult to find on the Ideas site. Read more »

MassLNC Welcomes Minnesota Group to Evergreen Development Initiative

Upcoming MassLNC development includes performing batch actions from search results and searching report templates

The MassLNC Development Committee voted earlier this month to proceed with several development projects that were identified as priorities to MassLNC partners.

These development projects are the first to be implemented through the new MassLNC Evergreen Development Initiative. The initiative is an opportunity for libraries and consortia running Evergreen to maximize their resources by pooling funds to sponsor exciting new features and needed bug fixes in Evergreen. Evergreen Indiana Is the Newest Partner to Join MassLNC

MassLNC is pleased to announce that Evergreen Indiana is the newest collaborator in the MassLNC Evergreen Development Initiative. 

Evergreen Indiana, a growing consortium of more than 100 libraries in Indiana, will join other MassLNC partners to help identify, fund, and implement new enhancements and bug fixes in Evergreen. The Indiana group is joining C/W MARS (Massachusetts), NOBLE (Massachusetts), Bibliomation (Connecticut), BC Libraries Cooperative (Canada), Georgia PINES (Georgia) and Howe Library (New Hampshire) as MassLNC partners. Massachusetts Library Group Receives Grant from EBSCO Information Services

Financial Grant will Support New Evergreen Developments

Worcester, Mass. — October 25, 2016 — The web-based, open source Integrated Library System (ILS) Evergreen will be continuing to develop software that meets the needs of libraries thanks in part to a grant from EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO). The grant to the Massachusetts Library Network Cooperative (MassLNC) is intended to finance new developments of popular catalog features for thousands of libraries using Evergreen.
